And finally, the sighthound breed I've been talking about creating for a while now!

Males are usually 27-33 inches, females are 25-32 inches.

The average litter consists of 4 puppies, though there are litters anywhere from 2-12 puppies on record.

This breed will be open for a two week period after the posting of this breedsheet, after which time an import request will have to be submitted. Every two or three months a two week free creation period will take place.

For those curious, here are the coat patterns shown:
Equus: Silver Buckskin, Blue Roan, Grulla
Canis: Ticked Black, Live and Tan Tricolor, Blue and White
Panthera: Golden Tabby Tiger, Male Lion, Melanistic Jaguar

Now that I've got this out there I can start preparing my huge nighttime hunting event I've been planning!

The Anatoly Hound has a sister breed that is rather similar, but will have glowing markings.


The breed is registered with ~C-D-B-R, so you can submit your dogs there!

Fun facts:
When two golden tabbies mate the resulting offspring can be stripeless white cubs.
Sometimes when tigers reproduce (especially in the Bengal subspecies where inbreeding is a problem due to their white modifier) the offspring is psydo-melanistic, meaning they are not truly black but their stripes are so wide that the orange color does not show through. There were at one point true melanistic tigers.
Golden tabbies are sometimes called strawberry.
White tigers are not albino.
There aren't actually black panthers, that is a general name given to melanistic felines in the panthera family, primarily the leopards.
